SEEKING NEW YORK MUSICAL COLLABORATOR
Seek New York musician(s) to collaborate on "Sita";Need Desi sounds, remixes, and a funky bhangra beat(a)

Please, anyone, is there a Desi funkster in the hizzy?
All the kids today make techno, I do not know why
It's slow, it makes me sleepy, it's repetitive and dry
What happened to the bhangra? Whither went the funk?
Why is techno all the rage? Electronica is junk.
I've tried to find musicians here, but what's a girl to do
When all the decent music's from pre-1992?
And as for the UK, I have sent emails to that nation
but still I never heard back from Asian Dub Foundation.
Will I have to leave New York and go to San Francisco
While the East Coast Desis go on mixing techno disco?
I need funky bhangra and if Desis here won't make it
Perhaps my pasty San Francisco friends will have to fake it.
