Inspiration
Our IdeaWhich art in the Ether
That cannot be named;
Thy Vision come
Thy Will be done
On Earth, as it is in Abstraction.
Give us this day our daily Spark
And forgive us our criticisms
As we forgive those who critique against us;
And lead us not into stagnation
But deliver us from Ego;
For Thine is the Vision
And the Power
And the Glory forever.
Amen.

Do Some Good
Adopt an adult cat (they're the best) from the Brooklyn Animal Resource Coalition.
Inform yourself about Fair Use and the need to defend it at Stay Free! Magazine. And read my own rantings among the comments.

Return of the Stork
By popular demand, I re-compressed and posted the Stork and Fetch! at a temporary location. I don't know how long they'll last there, so if anyone wants to mirror-host them, just download them, upload them, and send me the URL. Thanks!

Sita in Korea
She's chaste but she sure gets around. From the Korean magazine Animatoon, in an article about the ASIFA-East animation festival by Karl Cohen.

Zorba the Greek
"When a woman sleeps alone, it puts a shame on all men....God has a very big heart, but there is one sin he does not forgive: when a woman calls a man to her bed, and he does not go!" --Zorba the Greek(I haven't called a man to my bed in ages, but constantly meditating on Sita, watching various men I know screw up their love lives, and reflecting on my own pathetic history, all lead me to believe this quote merits more exposure. It's worth renting the movie just to hear Anthony Quinn deliver these lines with moving conviction.)

Excellent Animation Resource
Sometimes people send me emails asking for animation advice. Now I know where to send those people: AIM's Animation Notes. This is from the Animation and Interactive Media department of Australia's RMIT University. It's pretty inspirational, even for a jaded old geezer like me.
