Sunday Nov. 5, 7pm, Exploratorium SF
New date! New time! New venue! My San Francisco show has been moved, due to circumstances beyond my control (ie, someone was a total flake and screwed up). Big, huge thanks to Karl Cohen of ASIFA-SF for arranging a new venue on such short notice.
Sita Sings the Blues and other animation by Nina Paley
Sunday, November 5, 7pm
Exploratorium McBean Theater
The show consists of the entire Sita Sings the Blues work-in-progress to date. That's all ten musical episodes, over half of which you can't see online. Even the episodes you can see online have been changed and reformatted - "Trial by Fire" has completely new scenes. There are also some new dialog scenes, animation in a completely different style, and one new song by Rohan! Plus some of my older shorts, like Fetch! and The Stork, on a larger-than-your-computer-sized screen. Of course I will be there for Q & A. Hope to see you there!

Turning Siamese
I've neglected to post photos of Bruno lately. Perhaps because I've grown so jealous of Anne Altman's photoblogging of her impossibly cute cat Doodle. Still, Bruno's nothing to sneeze at, unless you have allergies. Here he is trying on a new look.

Yikes!
I just spiffed up my Mac by installing a new internal hard drive and finally upgrading from OS 10.3 to 10.4. Then I cleared out my first hard drive to make room for about 30 GB of applications, including the latest Final Cut Studio. This morning, after many dull hours of inserting and removing discs, I restarted. Look what I saw!One manual restart later everything seems fine. Maybe my Mac was just getting a jump on Halloween.
