Which blog software are you going to? I've been evaluating SquareSpace... what don't you like about Blogger?
What I don't like about Blogger is there's no way to manage trolls except by deleting individual comments, which is annoying and time-consuming. I favor a banning policy for chronic comment abusers. You may have noticed a lot of trolls here lately, and I expect more in the future.
I'm moving to Word Press, which is offered by my web host.
Did I say Word Press? I meant Moveable Type. I think. My host seems to offer both. I can't tell what's going on but my Expert Counsel will be all over it tomorrow.
Moderation is a pain in the butt. One of the cool things about SquareSpace is that it also tracks IP addresses and actually gives you IDs of people and traffic analysis. I'm not sure if they have tagging though, which is pretty important for what I want to do...
